
Residents of the village of Solokhi in the Belgorod region, which was shelled by Ukraine, will be taken to a safe place, Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his TELEGRAM channel.
According to the regional Ministry of Health, one person died, the number of victims of shelling rose to six. Earlier, Gladkov spoke about three wounded.
The governor denied media reports about the second deceased - a 14-year-old teenager. “I report that this is not the case. The boy is alive and is in the regional hospital. He is receiving all the necessary medical care,” he wrote. Earlier, the Baza Telegram channel reported the second death.

The village of Solokhi is located in the Belgorod region, a few kilometers from the border with the Kharkov region of Ukraine. The settlement was shelled on the evening of May 11; one residential building was partially destroyed, the reeds also caught fire. Gladkov assured that the houses in the village were not on fire.
