“This is a very short period of time, and you need to try to capture this period in order to get a positive PCR until the phagocytic cells gobble up this virus. At the same time, the virus must be in some very concentrated state,” he said.

Last October, the Ministry of HEALTH authorized the use of the nasal form of the vaccine, which is the second component of Sputnik V, for volunteers during the second phase of testing a new form of the drug. The research will last until December 2023 and will involve 500 volunteers.

As Gunzburg pointed out, the covid-19 nasal vaccine has no side effects. According to him, the nasal spray vaccine cannot replace the injectable vaccine, it was created only for additional protection of the body.
