
Scientists of the Center N.F. Gamalei is ready to conduct clinical trials of a nasal vaccine against CORONAVIRUS. This was announced by the DIRECTOR of the Center Alexander Gintsburg, TASS reports.
“With the nasal vaccine, there is now serious progress, the pre-clinic is all done. We are ready to move on to clinical trials,” Gunzburg said.
He explained that the nasal vaccine is the second component of Sputnik V, which is sprayed into the nose using a syringe with a nozzle.

Earlier, Gunzburg reported that clinical trials of a nasal vaccine against COVID-19 would begin in late 2021 or early 2022, and registration of the drug should take place in 2022.
