About 150 thousand doses of the Sputnik M vaccine against CORONAVIRUS for adolescents aged 12 to 17 years have been produced in RUSSIA. This was stated by the DIRECTOR of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F. Gamalei Alexander Gintsburg, RIA Novosti reports.
“We have already released about 150 thousand doses. By the end of the year, we plan to release about 200-250 thousand doses into civilian circulation,” Gunzburg said.

Sputnik M, intended for teenagers aged 12-17, was registered by the Ministry of HEALTH on 24 November. Prior to this, the drug was undergoing clinical trials, which began in July. Vaccine research was carried out on the basis of 12 children's medical institutions in the capital. In November, the third phase of trials began, as a result of which it was decided that the dosage of the drug would be 1/5 of Sputnik V for adults and would also be administered in two doses with a break of 21 days.
The state register of medicines indicates that after vaccination with Sputnik M, cellular immunity was formed in 93.2% of the examined volunteers.
