Germany sets a record for the number of people infected with coronavirus per day

During the day, 80,430 people were infected with CORONAVIRUS in Germany, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute under the German Ministry of HEALTH.
For the country, this is a record since the beginning of the pandemic. The last maximum was recorded on November 24, 2021. Then in Germany, 66,884 people were infected per day.
Most of the new cases were recorded in Hamburg - 10,539, Bremen - 7,899, Cologne - 4,454 and Düsseldorf - 4,358.
