Germany lifts two-week quarantine for arrivals from Russia

Russians will no longer have to comply with a mandatory two-week quarantine after arriving in Germany if they have a certificate of vaccination with any EU-approved vaccine against covid-19 , a certificate of the presence of antibodies, or a negative PCR test result taken on the fifth day after arriving in the country. The fact that such rules will come into force on July 7 for Russians, as well as for visitors from the UK, Portugal, India and Nepal, was previously reported by the Robert Koch Institute, which monitors the epidemiological situation in Germany.

Also, when entering Germany, it is necessary to fill out a digital entry registration form, where documents on the presence of immunity and test results are uploaded.

Previously , according to the classification of the Koch Institute, RUSSIA was included in the list of countries where CORONAVIRUS mutations are common; for those arriving from such zones, a 14-day quarantine was mandatory, which could not be terminated ahead of schedule even with a negative test for COVID-19 or a vaccination certificate.

Now Russia belongs to the countries with a high incidence rate. Those who come from here with a negative PCR test need to do another test for COVID-19 on the fifth day of quarantine, and if it is negative, quarantine can be ended.
