Gates said the world is not ready for a new pandemic

MICROSOFT co-founder, one of the richest people in the world, Bill Gates believes that the world is not making enough efforts to prepare for a new pandemic. He said this in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

“I am somewhat concerned that there is less focus on pandemic preparedness in the world than I expected,” the billionaire said.

To prepare properly, you need to be able to make a vaccine within 100 days and have the capacity to make it within the next 100 days to cover the world's needs. In his opinion, this task is feasible.

The publication recalls that Gates warned about the threat of a pandemic a few years ago.
