Gazprombank allowed the return of some employees to remote work

Gazprombank is considering the possible return of some employees not involved in the functioning of branches to remote work, RBC was told in the press service of the credit institution. In other large banks that answered RBC's questions, they announced their readiness to take additional measures if the epidemiological situation worsens.

On Thursday, June 10, the operational headquarters reported the detection of 11.7 thousand new cases in the country, which corresponds to the level of March 2021. On June 10, more than 5 thousand cases of the disease were detected in Moscow, this is a record since January 2021. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted that there are no plans to introduce additional quarantine measures in the city, but asked businesses to follow sanitary standards.

“At the moment, the issue of the possible return of part of the employees who are not involved in the functioning of branches to remote work is being considered,” Gazprombank’s press service told RBC. They also added that "all the necessary measures of sanitary and epidemic safety are provided in all branches and offices of the bank."

Otkritie Bank is ready to take additional security measures for customers and employees, depending on the development of the situation, the press service said. “The bank’s offices continue to work in compliance with all the necessary epidemiological safety requirements for customers and employees,” Otkritie added, adding that the bank is scaling up a permanent hybrid work format, when employees of a number of departments work in shifts in the office, on average, about 50% working time.
