The French Consulate General in Moscow will renew five-year visas for those whose validity expired during the CORONAVIRUS pandemic. This was reported on the website of the diplomatic mission.
To do this, you must submit a request to the Consulate General. To apply, you need to provide a passport with a multiple entry permit. The French-issued visa must expire in 2020 or 2021 (before applying).
In addition to Moscow, documents will be accepted at VFS Global visa centers in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don.

“This gradual resumption does not mean today that the conditions and sanitary requirements for entry into the national territory of France have been changed for immigrants from RUSSIA,” the website of the Consulate General notes.
