The State Council of Finland partially removes restrictions on crossing the border. From Monday, July 12, residents of Azerbaijan, Moldova, Lithuania, Slovenia and Switzerland will be able to freely enter the country. For other countries, Suomi authorities have extended entry restrictions.
Until July 25 inclusive, residents of Schengen countries with a high level of covid-19 infection will not be able to come to Finland without good reason , Yle.fi reports. Among them are Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, Norway, France, Portugal and a number of others. However, arrivals from these countries to Finland as part of a sea cruise are allowed.
As for RUSSIA, Ukraine and Belarus, the issue of restrictions is relevant for them at least until August 22.
Recall that on July 26, restrictions should be lifted inside the Schengen zone. In this case, the traveler will no longer be required to test for CORONAVIRUS if he has a vaccination certificate or if he has had COVID-19 in the past six months. If the traveler has not completed the full course of vaccination, he will have to undergo a control test within 3-5 days after arriving in Finland, just like those who enter with a negative test. Certificates are not required from children under 15 years of age.
