Restaurants and cafes will once again be able to receive subsidies for reimbursement of costs for the delivery of ready-made food through the Yandex.Food and Delivery club aggregators. As RBC Tatarstan was told in the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the decision to extend is due to the fact that public catering enterprises are still under restrictions due to the epidemiological situation.

“Due to the great interest of cafes and restaurants of the republic in the program, the budget for the current year has been increased to 42 million rubles, and the reimbursement period is up to 14 months (from October 1, 2020 to November 30, 2021). At the moment, applications are being accepted from aggregators for accreditation,” the press service said.

According to the ministry, in 2020, 154 restaurants received subsidies under the program for a total of 28 million rubles. The actual expenses incurred for the commission of aggregators for the delivery of food and food were reimbursed.

Galina Sharafutdinova, executive director of the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Tatarstan, noted that the reimbursement of delivery fees is a useful tool.
