Two patients died from coronavirus in Bashkiria

Over the past day, two people have died from the consequences of covid-19 in Bashkiria, the operational headquarters of the republic for combating CORONAVIRUS infection reports. The total number of deaths in the region reached 474. Before that, for two days, on May 8 and 9, four deaths per day were recorded.

As of Monday, May 10, 89 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection have been identified. Thus, since the beginning of the pandemic, the disease has been detected in 36,316 residents of the republic. 94 patients have recovered over the past day. A total of 33,884 people have recovered from the coronavirus.

As RBC Ufa reported, from the beginning of the pandemic until the end of April 2021, the regional Social Insurance Fund made more than 12.2 thousand payments to HEALTH workers who contracted the coronavirus while on duty. The total amount of transfers amounted to 921.9 million rubles. Of these, 79.8 million rubles were paid for 29 deaths - the families of the deceased were paid 2.75 million rubles each. One-time insurance payments to medical workers are made by decree of President Vladimir Putin. The amount of payments to doctors infected with coronavirus at work is 68.8 thousand rubles.
