Election days: schools of the Republic of Tatarstan during the voting will maintain their regular mode of operation

As the HEAD of the Central Election Commission of Tatarstan Andrey Kondratyev said today at a press conference in the Tatar-Inform news agency, schools in the republic will work as usual on election days. However, on September 17, which falls on Friday, the schedule will be adjusted, with an emphasis on extracurricular activities.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan confirmed that schoolchildren will study as usual on election days. As part of the agreement between the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Central Election Commission of RUSSIA, it is recommended to organize field events, excursions, hikes, practical exercises, sports competitions, conduct lessons in museums, and so on on September 17-19.

“Thus, the organization of the educational process for the period of the election campaign is planned without interruption from the main educational program and curricula of educational organizations,” the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan reports.

Kondratiev said that information about the agreement concluded by the Ministry of Education and the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation was sent to the municipalities of the republic.

Elections of deputies of the 8th convocation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation will be held on September 17, 18 and 19.
In Tatarstan, by-elections of deputies of the State Council of the region will also be held in two districts - Azinsky and Student. There will be 2810 polling stations in the region. In the unified federal district, 112 candidates were nominated from the Republic of Tatarstan, 53 more people - in 6 single-mandate districts.
