The number of victims of COVID-19 in Bashkiria exceeded 3 thousand people

In Bashkiria, 36 patients died from CORONAVIRUS over the past day. The total number of victims of the pandemic in the region has reached 3011, according to the operational headquarters for combating covid-19 . The anti-record for the number of deaths in the republic was recorded on November 5 - 37 people died from the consequences of the infection.

Over the past day, 681 cases of coronavirus were registered in the region, this is a new daily record. A total of 94,902 residents were infected. The previous record for daily incidence in the region was updated on Thursday, November 11 - the diagnosis was confirmed in 680 people.

83,849 patients have already managed to cope with the disease, 672 residents of the republic were discharged the day before with recovery.

Mass vaccination of the population against COVID-19 continues in Bashkiria. More than 1.8 million people have already been vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, and 1.5 million people have completed vaccination. As RBC Ufa reported, in the republic the share of infectious diseases hospitals vaccinated among patients is 5-7%. The highest rate of hospitalization among those vaccinated was recorded in the Moscow region - 18%.

Earlier, the HEAD of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, said that due to the restrictions imposed in the republic on visiting public places for unvaccinated and unill citizens, the rate of vaccination of the population is growing. In addition, the period of non-working days in early November also positively affected the growth in the number of vaccinated people and the epidemiological situation in general. According to Khabirov, long days off made it possible to “break the epidemiological chains”, and the incidence and mortality from COVID-19 decreased in the region.
