The number of patients with covid in the North Caucasus exceeded 516 thousand people

As of April 5, 292 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. This was reported on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website. Over the entire period, the number of people infected with covid in the North Caucasus Federal District amounted to 516,113 people.

The Stavropol Territory (126 new cases) remains in first place in terms of the daily increase in patients. In second place is Chechnya, where 39 more patients with coronavirus were identified. The third line is occupied by Dagestan, where 33 new cases of infection were found. Also, 32 cases were recorded in Kabardino-Balkaria, 24 in Ingushetia, 19 in Karachay-Cherkessia, 19 in North Ossetia.

Over the past day, 592 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the North Caucasus Federal District. In particular, there are 244 people in Dagestan, 140 in Stavropol, 123 in Chechnya, 44 in Ingushetia, 21 in Kabardino-Balkaria, 11 in Karachay-Cherkessia, and nine in North Ossetia.

During the day, four deaths from covid were recorded in the North Caucasus: two people died in Dagestan, one each in the Stavropol Territory and in the KBR.

As RBC Caucasus reported, on April 4, 309 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the North Caucasus.
