The number of patients with coronavirus in the region exceeded 900

In the Kaliningrad region over the past day, 906 cases of infection with CORONAVIRUS were detected, 63 people recovered, 176 were hospitalized. This is reported by the information center for monitoring the spread of infection.

The region has recorded 92,350 cases of covid since the start of the pandemic. 82,491 cases ended in recovery.

As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, on January 18, the first four cases of infection with the Omicron strain of coronavirus were confirmed in the region - in three adults and a child. According to the department of Rospotrebnadzor, two cases were imported from France and the Dominican Republic, two more people were probably infected inside the region.
