The number of cases of coronavirus detected in the North Caucasus Federal District exceeded 3.4 thousand per day.

In the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, 3,479 new cases of coronavirus were detected over the past day. This was reported on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of cases has grown to 456,316.

​​The Stavropol Territory remains the leader in daily growth, where 1,277 people infected with covid were detected, Dagestan is in second place (601 people), and Kabardino-Balkaria is in third place (515). Also, 382 cases were registered in Ingushetia, 369 - in Karachay-Cherkessia, 207 - in North Ossetia, 128 - in Chechnya.

During the day, 2,393 people recovered from COVID-19 in the North Caucasus Federal District, and 384,781 residents have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic. The Stavropol Territory became the leader in the number of people cured of covid per day - 1,154 people. The second place belongs to Dagestan - 527 people, the third - to Kabardino-Balkaria - 280 people. In addition, 189 residents of Ingushetia, 86 residents of Chechnya, 79 residents of the KChR and 78 residents of North Ossetia have recovered from the coronavirus.

The daily increase in deaths from coronavirus in the district was 39 people. In particular, in Stavropol and Dagestan - ten people each, in North Ossetia - seven, in the KBR - six, in Chechnya - four, in Ingushetia - two. For all the time, the infection claimed the lives of 15,389 people.
