The number of deaths from covid in the North Caucasus exceeded 16.3 thousand people

In the North Caucasus Federal District, on the morning of April 19, 195 new cases of CORONAVIRUS were detected. This was reported on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website. In total, since the start of the pandemic, the number of cases has risen to 519,464.

The leader in daily growth remains the Stavropol Territory, where 107 patients were identified, Dagestan is in second place (25 people), and Kabardino-Balkaria is in third place (24). Also, 20 infected people were recorded in Karachay-Cherkessia, ten in North Ossetia, nine in Ingushetia, not a single one was infected per day in Chechnya.

During the day, 773 people recovered in the North Caucasus Federal District. Chechnya took the first place in terms of the number of people cured of covid - 350 people. The second place belongs to Dagestan - 119 people, the third - to Ingushetia - 89 people. In addition, 85 residents of Stavropol, 77 residents of North Ossetia, 31 residents of the KBR and 22 residents of the KCR have recovered from the coronavirus.

The daily increase in deaths from covid in the North Caucasus amounted to five people. In particular, two people died in the KBR, one each in Stavropol, Dagestan and North Ossetia-Alania. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of deaths from covid in the North Caucasus Federal District has amounted to 16,301 people.
