The number of deaths from COVID in the region decreased by almost 100% in a year

In July this year, the main cause of death of 37 people in the Novosibirsk region was a CORONAVIRUS infection, which is 97.9% less than in the same month last year. The virus was identified in all the dead, follows from the materials of Rosstat.
The infection became an important condition among the causes of death of 24 people in July this year and 214 last year.
In four deaths in the region, coronavirus was not the main cause of death, but had a significant impact on the development of fatal complications of the disease. This is 190 people less than last year.
