The number of new cases of COVID in the region fell for the first time since December

In the Kaliningrad region over the past day, although a very small decrease in the number of cases of coronavirus has been registered. 2035 new cases were registered, 852 people recovered, 117 were hospitalized, there are no deaths. This is reported by the center for monitoring the situation with a new coronavirus infection.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in the region, a total of 115,213 infected people have been registered, 84,878 have been ill, and 1,523 have died.

Earlier, RBC Kaliningrad published a video message from Governor Anton Alikhanov about the new wave. He assumed that in February the number of cases could be 2 or 3 thousand, but the disease would mostly be mild.
