On November 26, the Czech government introduces a state of emergency due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš announced, iDNES.cz reports.

For 30 days, Christmas markets, bars, restaurants and nightclubs will be closed from 22:00 to 05:00. Restaurants will only operate takeaway. A maximum of 1,000 people will be able to attend cultural and sporting events.

In addition, the Czech authorities are discussing the possibility of introducing mandatory vaccination against coronavirus for people over 50 years of age, healthcare workers, social services, firefighters, police and military personnel.
