
In the Canadian province of Ontario, a small passenger plane crashed, carrying four people, all of them died, CBC reports.
According to the channel, the Piper PA-28 Cherokee was heading from Dryden to Marathon. Its fragments were found in the region of Lake Kukukus, about 40 km southeast of Sioux Lookout.
“We have only been able to identify two of the four people and we are still working on notifying [their families] for these two. We don't have the [identities] of all four victims yet," local police spokesman Allison Lawrence said. He also clarified that the plane belonged to the pilot.
Ontario Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

On April 20, another plane crash occurred in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince, killing six people. The crash occurred at the southern exit of the city, in the commune of Carrefour. The plane crashed into a busy street and collided with vehicles. Prime Minister Ariel Henry tweeted his condolences over the tragedy and ordered an investigation. REUTERS wrote that the crashed plane flew to the city of Jacmel in the southeast of the country.
