Gamaleya Center to conduct human trials of new coronavirus vaccine
Center named after N.F. Gamalei, who developed Sputnik V, will conduct the first two phases of clinical trials of a new CORONAVIRUS vaccine on volunteers, follows from a contract on the public procurement portal, Pharmaceutical Bulletin writes.
The new drug, unlike Sputnik V, was developed on the basis of virus-like particles (VLP). They do not contain the genetic material of the pathogen, but mimic it. Its intramuscular and intranasal form will be tested on 18-55 year old volunteers.
The contractor was RIK-Pharma LLC. The center will pay her 8,240,000 rubles.
