“We will replace”: the production of electric filling stations will be expanded in Perm

Perm manufacturer of charging stations for electric vehicles is expanding its production base to engage in import substitution. After the departure of foreign manufacturers of charging stations for electric vehicles, an enterprise from Perm is ready to occupy this niche in RUSSIA and provide the necessary components and software for the whole country.

“A large number of competitors have left the market. And we will replace these products with Russian charging stations. We have already covered more than 10 regions. Today, the regions of our presence are Novosibirsk, the Moscow Region, the Krasnodar Territory, Rostov, Tyumen and Krasnoyarsk,” says Maxim Politov, Development DIRECTOR of PSS Corporation.

Experts clarify that some owners of charging stations have already encountered the problem of targeted remote shutdown of software by Western companies. This resulted in a complete shutdown of the equipment. Earlier, the regional authorities have already spoken about the need for rapid import substitution and the release of high-quality products for the domestic market.

“We understand that now it is very important to build logistics and not lose our EXPORT potential, since a very large number of jobs depend on it,” emphasizes Dmitry Makhonin, Governor of the Perm Territory.

Within two months, the manufacturer of charging stations for electric vehicles launched the serial production of fast charging stations with a capacity of 150 kW. They can recharge both European and Asian electric vehicles. The greatest demand for this type of commercial structures.

The company summarizes that in the near future it plans to increase production capacity. If last year one charging station was produced per day, now there will be four. In this direction, they even see round-the-clock production. In the future, the organization should start assembling eight charging stations. But to achieve this goal, the implementation of another project will be required - the construction of the country's largest factory of charging stations.

In addition, according to the information of the online newspaper "Text", "PSS Corporation" is negotiating with several investors on the construction of the plant. The company does not exclude that they will implement the project on their own, but with the support of the state: the Industrial Development Fund, loans or credits. According to Maxim Politov, the launch of the plant requires about 500 million rubles, and another 400-500 million rubles. required for the purchase of raw materials. The plant will be able to produce up to 10,000 charging stations per year. It is planned that it will become the largest in the country and will be able to cover 50-60% of the market needs.
