
British authorities will detain planes allegedly belonging to billionaire Roman Abramovich's partner, Russian businessman and head of Millhouse investment company Yevgeny Shvidler, Transport Minister Grant Shepps said on Twitter.
“I kept Yevgeny Shvidler's planes under investigation for three weeks. I am now using my powers to delay them indefinitely,” he wrote.

Earlier, on March 9, Shepps announced that the country's authorities had decided to detain any Russian aircraft, including private ones, that would be in its airspace. The very fact of a Russian plane entering there was equated with a criminal offense.
