In the UK and France, a new daily record for the number of people infected with CORONAVIRUS was recorded.

In France, 271,686 cases of infection were recorded in 24 hours, the national public HEALTH agency said. In total, more than 10.5 million people have been infected with coronavirus in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.

On Tuesday, Johns Hopkins University reported a record number of new cases of covid-19 infection per day in the United States: this figure for the first time exceeded 1 million, 1688 people died. WHO has not yet released data for the country for January 4.
