Actor Boris Shcherbakov was taken to the Botkin hospital due to heart problems against the background of SARS. This was reported to RBC by his son Vasily Shcherbakov.

“Yesterday, he [Boris] first ended up in intensive care for cardiology. He did all the tests - no CORONAVIRUS. Today he called and said in a rather cheerful voice that he was transferred to a hospital, his condition had stabilized, ”said the actor’s son.

Shcherbakov was hospitalized on January 31. His wife, actress Tatyana Bronzova, told RBC that he was admitted to the hospital with a positive test result for covid-19 .

Vasily Shcherbakov clarified that the actor does not have pneumonia, and the next day after hospitalization, a negative PCR result for coronavirus came.

In August 2021, Boris Shcherbakov was hospitalized with suspected COVID-19, then the artist's infection was not confirmed. The second time he was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia in October 2021, then tests for coronavirus also showed a negative result.

Boris Shcherbakov is 73 years old. He worked at the Moscow Art Theater from 1972, then - from 1987 - at the Moscow Art Theater. A.P. Chekhov. In 1994 he received the title of People's Artist.
