Karelia has introduced Covid passports for enterprises: the authorities promise preferences for employers with at least 60% of their employees vaccinated or ill with Covid-19 after January 1, 2021. Among the population, support for the introduction of Covid passports is growing, but very slowly: by only 5 percentage points in six months. Only 16% of Perm residents support the idea of ​​introducing Covid passports, while 53% of Perm residents are against this idea. 31% of respondents from Perm found it difficult to answer. There are more supporters of the idea of ​​introducing Covid passports among residents of Omsk, Chelyabinsk and Kazan, and opponents among Muscovites and residents of the Northern capital.

In total, 17% of respondents in Russia approve of the idea of ​​introducing Covid-passports for people with antibodies to coronavirus or who have been vaccinated, 65% are against such an initiative. Respondents older than 45 are more likely to support the introduction of such a document.

Among residents of million-plus cities, they are more likely than others to support the idea of ​​introducing Covid-passports for people with antibodies to coronavirus or who have been vaccinated in Omsk and Chelyabinsk (23% each). Against the maintenance of Covid-passports for people with antibodies to coronavirus or who have been vaccinated most of all among Muscovites (68%), residents of St. Petersburg (63%), Volgograd (60%) and Rostov-on-Don (59%).
