
Karelia has introduced Covid passports for enterprises: the authorities promise preferences for employers with at least 60% of their employees vaccinated or ill with Covid-19 after January 1, 2021. Among the population, support for the introduction of Covid passports is growing, but very slowly: by only 5 percentage points in six months. Only 16% of Perm residents support the idea of introducing Covid passports, while 53% of Perm residents are against this idea. 31% of respondents from Perm found it difficult to answer. This study was conducted by SuperJob specialists.
There are more supporters of the idea of introducing Covid passports among residents of Omsk, Chelyabinsk and Kazan, and opponents among Muscovites and residents of the Northern capital.
In total, 17% of respondents in Russia approve of the idea of introducing Covid-passports for people with antibodies to coronavirus or who have been vaccinated, 65% are against such an initiative. Respondents older than 45 are more likely to support the introduction of such a document.
Among residents of million-plus cities, they are more likely than others to support the idea of introducing Covid-passports for people with antibodies to coronavirus or who have been vaccinated in Omsk and Chelyabinsk (23% each). Against the maintenance of Covid-passports for people with antibodies to coronavirus or who have been vaccinated most of all among Muscovites (68%), residents of St. Petersburg (63%), Volgograd (60%) and Rostov-on-Don (59%).
