Bulgaria decided to introduce mandatory PCR tests for Russians

Air traffic between the countries resumed on June 28. Now a negative PCR test will become mandatory for those Russians who have been vaccinated.

Russian tourists arriving in Bulgaria will have to present a negative PCR test for the covid-19 CORONAVIRUS . This was reported by the press service of the Bulgarian Ministry of HEALTH.

The test must be done no later than 72 hours before arrival in the country. The decree signed by Bulgarian Health Minister Stoycho Katsarov states that the new rules will come into effect on July 8.

Similar requirements are introduced for citizens of Spain and Cyprus. All three states, according to the classification of the Ministry of Health, are included in the orange zone according to the degree of spread of coronavirus. Citizens from the green zone countries can enter Bulgaria under the most relaxed requirements. However, the admission to the country of foreigners from the red zone is closed.

If a Russian citizen arrives in Bulgaria without a PCR test certificate, he can be sent to a ten-day quarantine.
