In Moscow, restaurants and food courts will experimentally create so-called COVID-19 -free zones, where visitors will be allowed only with passports and QR codes with vaccination information. Bulat Shakirov, president of the Union of Shopping Centers of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, said this after a meeting of business with officials of the capital's mayor's office, Forbes reports.
He said that visitors can be in these areas without restrictions, but the staff will work in gloves and masks. Entrance to such zones will be by a QR code, which will be linked to the base of the vaccinated, Shakirov specified.
“Moscow will create a single database of vaccinated people, since each ampoule is tied to a specific person. No papers, certificates will be accepted,” he added.

President of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia Igor Bukharov told the publication that the list of establishments that will take part in the experiment is still being drawn up. It will include about ten restaurants, he said. “The system will be similar to the Israeli one – to enter a restaurant, you will need to present an identity passport and a vaccination QR code,” Bukharov said.
