Ex-husband Pugacheva denied reports of hospitalization with COVID-19

The ex-husband of singer Alla Pugacheva, director Alexander Stefanovich, denied information about hospitalization with a coronavirus infection. In a conversation with RBC, Stefanovich said that he had an acute respiratory disease (ARI).

“Now everyone who has the slightest suspicion is being dragged to the hospital. My suspicion of COVID-19 as a result of careful tests was not confirmed. Treat ARI. The dynamics are positive, ”the director explained.

Earlier, the Mash Telegram channel wrote that Stefanovic had contracted the coronavirus about a week ago. Initially, he was treated at home, but after his health worsened, he was hospitalized in the capital's hospital in Sokolniki. The Telegram channel claimed that about 50% of the director's lungs were affected.

Stefanovich is 76 years old. He was born in Leningrad. Since 1970 he worked as a director at Mosfilm. He also wrote scripts for films, including the satirical comedy "Soul", "Start Over", "Disk", "Courage". From 1977 to 1981 he was married to singer Alla Pugacheva.
