Belousov said there was no expectation of a third wave of the pandemic in Russia

A third wave of CORONAVIRUS infection is not expected in RUSSIA. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov during a meeting with the participants of the International Youth Economic Forum and SPIEF-Junior during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“To be honest, no,” Belousov said in response to a question about whether a third wave of covid-19 is expected in Russia.

According to him, what is happening now is "not a wave, it is a local story." Belousov added that the situation with the incidence of coronavirus will depend on the speed of vaccination.

Earlier, the offensive in Russia of the third wave of the spread of coronavirus was denied by the HEAD of the country's Ministry of HEALTH, Mikhail Murashko. He noted that the regions are coming out of the pandemic in different ways, but in the whole country the incidence is declining.
