Biden fell ill with CORONAVIRUS a few days ago, and he announced his decision to withdraw from the presidential race via a post on X. The Republican Party demanded proof that President Joe Biden is alive.

US President Joe Biden held online briefings today with his advisers Liz Sherwood-Randall and Jake Sullivan on homeland security issues, the White House press service reported.

On July 18, the US administration announced that Biden had contracted the coronavirus, had gone into self-isolation at his home in Delaware, and would continue to serve as president in full.

On July 21, Biden announced on his X social media page that he was withdrawing from the presidential election. The announcement followed weeks of pressure from Democratic Party members who wanted the incumbent US leader to end his campaign following his disastrous debates with Republican Donald Trump.

On July 22, the president's physician, Kevin O'Connor, said that the symptomsBiden's covid-19 symptoms have nearly disappeared, and his pulse and temperature remain normal. In recent days, including July 21, when he announced his withdrawal from the presidential race, Biden has not appeared in public. In another statement, published on July 22, he said he would continue as president. The Republican Party has called for his resignation. 

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Borbert twice today demanded proof that Biden is alive on her FACEBOOK page. She believes that the current president must appear on camera to prove this.

According to NBC News, after returning to Washington, Biden plans to deliver an address to the American people, in which he will detail the reasons for his decision to drop out of the presidential race. The HEAD of state is also scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week. The channel's sources reported that Netanyahu also discussed the possibility of meeting with Donald Trump.
