The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be safe for both participants and residents of the city, said St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov.He spoke about the sanitary security measures adopted at the forum.

Participants of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be hospitalized and isolated if their body temperature rises, Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov told RIA Novosti.

“In addition, non-contact thermometry of all residents is organized in hotels with participants and guests of the forum. An increase in body temperature will entail isolation and hospitalization, ”he said. The governor added that the premises visited by a person with a fever will be cleaned, disinfected "and other necessary measures."

According to Beglov, SPIEF participants with a positive coronavirus test will be hospitalized at the Botkin Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, and those who have been in contact with the sick will be sent to observation centers based in the Baltiets and Zarya boarding houses.

The governor explained that during the forum, ambulance crews would be constantly on duty at Expoforum, Pulkovo airport and Moscow railway station.
