Bashkiria will receive 184.9 million rubles to finance polyclinics operating under the system of compulsory medical insurance. The funds will be directed from the reserve fund of the Russian government. In total, 7.3 billion rubles were allocated to the regions for these purposes. The order on the distribution of transfers between the regions was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Most of the funds were allocated to Moscow - 880 million rubles, the least - to Baikonur - 1.4 million. The decision to allocate funding was made in connection with the spread of a new strain of the CORONAVIRUS "omicron" to fight the infection.
“Due to the peculiarities of the course of the disease, people are more likely to seek treatment at polyclinics, and the main burden falls on the outpatient network. In such difficult conditions, it is important to ensure its stable operation,” Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting.
The HEAD of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed the Ministry of HEALTH to ensure that the territorial compulsory health insurance funds receive federal transfers as soon as possible. He stressed that the smooth operation of the primary link depends on this.
The day before, on January 29, the authorities of Bashkiria, due to the increase in the incidence of the omicron strain of coronavirus, decided to extend the opening hours of polyclinics. The new schedule will take effect on Monday, January 31st. Outpatient facilities will accept patients from 7:30 to 22:00 seven days a week.
