Bashkiria will receive 17 million rubles to pay medical students and medical workers who consult patients remotely. This was reported to RBC Ufa in the Republican Ministry of Health.
In total, 600 million rubles will be allocated to the subjects for these purposes. The funds were allocated from the reserve fund of the Russian government as part of an updated plan of measures to counter the spread of coronavirus. The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation noted that additional funding will allow the involvement of at least 2.5 thousand consultants in the regions. Thanks to this, citizens will be able to get expert advice faster. Remote consultations will be available not only to patients with COVID-19 , but also to patients with symptoms of pneumonia, SARS and influenza.
“The main goal of these measures is to increase the availability of medical consultations for those who need them, and reduce the burden on the outpatient link, which has seriously increased due to the spread of the micro-strain of coronavirus,” the department noted.
As RBC Ufa reported, the incidence of coronavirus infection continues to grow in Bashkiria. The regional Ministry of Health notes that patients infected with the Omicron strain often carry the disease asymptomatically or in a mild form. As a rule, they do not require hospitalization, and the main burden falls on the outpatient link of medical care. Under these conditions, the burden on the operators of the situational anti-COVID center has increased and remains high. On behalf of the head of the region, the number of operators of the situational center was increased to 90, students of the Bashkir State Medical University and medical colleges were attracted to work in it. From January 31 to February 6, 49.9 thousand appeals from residents of the republic were processed in the situational center. Most of the calls were related to organizing outpatient treatment at home, clarifying test results, and making an appointment for vaccination against coronavirus.
