US President Joe Biden would like to look at events in Ukraine. He stated this at a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda, the broadcast was on the White House YouTube channel.
Biden explained that he came to Poland to look at the humanitarian crisis, but would like to see the situation in Ukraine.
“I think it’s understandable that they [US administration officials] will not let me cross the border and see what is happening in Ukraine,” the American president said.

On March 17, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called for Biden to come to Ukraine, as well as German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron. “They must look into the eyes of women and children and help them preserve their lives and their independence,” said Morawiecki.
