US President Joe Biden said he was not worried about the actions that the DPRK might take during his Asian tour, including a possible nuclear test.
“We are ready for everything that North Korea does. We thought out our response to whatever they did. So I'm not worried, if that's what you mean," he said, when asked by a reporter if he was worried about a potential nuclear test by the DPRK during his trip to the region.

The fact that the DPRK authorities may conduct nuclear tests during Joe Biden's visit to South Korea was previously reported by US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. He told reporters about this with reference to US intelligence data.
“Our intelligence indicates that there is a real possibility of missile testing, including long-range missile testing, or nuclear testing, or, frankly, both, before, during, or after the president’s trip to the region,” Sullivan said, noting that Washington is preparing for all contingencies.
Later, information about the preparation of the DPRK for the seventh nuclear test was confirmed by the intelligence services of South Korea.
