Ukraine should be given the opportunity to participate in the G20 meetings if Russia cannot be expelled from the organization. This was stated by US President Joe Biden during a press conference in Brussels, the broadcast was conducted by the press service of the White House.
“If Indonesia and others do not agree [with the proposal to exclude Russia from the G20], then, in my opinion, we need to ask that Ukraine can participate in G20 meetings and be an observer,” the American leader said.

The proposal to exclude Russia from the G20 was the first to be made by the Polish authorities. According to the Minister of Development and Technology of the Republic, Petr Novak, Warsaw made this proposal during a series of meetings, in particular with US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo. “[The proposal] received a positive response and approval. This issue will be referred to US President Joe Biden,” Novak said.
