
US President Joe Biden will return to his White House post on Tuesday, July 23, after isolating due to CORONAVIRUS infection, AFP reports, citing the HEAD of state's schedule.
According to the schedule, Biden will leave his residence in Delaware and arrive at the White House at 2:30 PM local time (7:30 PM Moscow time).
The US President tested positive for coronavirus on July 17 and went into self-isolation. The administration noted that Biden's symptoms were mild and he would continue to serve in his duties. The day before, on July 22, the president's physician, Kevin O'Connor, reported that the symptomsHis covid-19 symptoms have almost disappeared, his pulse and temperature remain normal.
During his isolation, Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race on his FACEBOOK page. He made no public appearances, and rumors circulated online that the president had died. The New York Times reported that Biden joined a campaign meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris, whom he had previously named as his successor, by phone. The newspaper wrote that the president's voice was hoarse but determined. He spoke for four minutes and then remained on the line.
