Biden is scheduled to visit Europe this week: on March 24, he will arrive in Brussels, where he will attend an emergency summit of the North Atlantic Alliance and meet with European leaders. In addition, the American president will travel to Warsaw, where he will hold talks with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda. The EU, Reuters has learned, is now working on a fifth round of sanctions against RUSSIA. The interlocutors of the agency reported that members of the union are discussing the introduction of restrictions on the import of Russian oil . The foreign ministers of the EU countries will speak on this topic on March 21, just shortly before Biden's visit to Europe.

The Baltic countries, including Lithuania, are pushing for an oil embargo, Reuters sources say, while Germany, which is highly dependent on gas and oil supplies from Russia, warns against quick action in this direction due to high energy prices in Europe.
