Baku, Azerbaijan

Tourists from RUSSIA, subject to a number of conditions, will be able to enter Azerbaijan by air from June 10. The corresponding decision was made earlier by the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic. The operational headquarters considered the situation with covid-19 in Russia stable, noting that as a result of vaccination, the number of infected “is under control.”

When crossing the border, Russians must present a negative PCR test result for COVID-19, taken no more than 72 hours before departure to Azerbaijan. In addition, adult citizens of Russia must also submit a document that confirms the full course of vaccination or the fact of the disease. For children under one year old, test results and “covid passports” are not required, for children aged one to 18 years old, a negative test for COVID-19 is required.

Travelers who do not meet the requirements are not allowed into the country and will be returned at the expense of the air carrier, the operational headquarters said. He recommended checking the necessary documents when registering for a flight, and airlines not to allow those who do not have the necessary documents to check-in.
