Actor Leonid Kuravlev hospitalized with pneumonia in Moscow

People's Artist of the RSFSR Leonid Kuravlev, who played the role of Afonya in the film of the same name, was taken to a hospital in Kommunarka with pneumonia, the actor's son Vasily told TASS.

“Leonid Vyacheslavovich is in Kommunarka. Doctors are treating him for pneumonia. covid tests are negative. We hope for his recovery, and there are reasons for this, according to the doctors. That's all the information," he said.

The hospital in Kommunarka told the agency that Kuravlev was hospitalized on January 5. The institution clarified that the artist is in the fourth intensive care unit in serious condition, which has not changed for several days.
