Aksyonov promised to submit proposals for a new city in Crimea by April

The Crimean authorities are planning to build a new city in Crimea, and relevant proposals will be submitted to the government by April 1 by the HEAD of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, and Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. Aksyonov stated this at a meeting on the socio-economic development of Crimea, which was held by President Vladimir Putin .

Aksenov clarified that proposals are being prepared to “tighten up” the network infrastructure. The population of the new city, according to plans, will be 50 thousand people. “We have two options: one is directly on the west coast, in the Saki district, and in the Simferopol district near the village of Nikolaevka,” the head of Crimea said.
