Airbnb banned Russians and Belarusians from renting housing around the world

The Airbnb rental service has banned users from RUSSIA and Belarus from using its services, the company said in a statement.

“Guests from these countries will no longer be able to book anywhere,” Airbnb said.

A month ago - in early March - the company banned users from all countries from booking accommodation in Russia and Belarus, all operations in these states were suspended. Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky has said before that U.S. sanctions on financial institutions from Russia had an impact on operations on Russian soil.
