Air Serbia and Wizz Air will visit Koltsovo after the lifting of covid restrictions

During a press conference on the development of Koltsovo, Evgeny Krasikov, Strategic Communications DIRECTOR of Airports of Regions Managing Company, told when European low-cost airlines will launch flights from Yekaterinburg. According to him, Air Serbia and Wizz Air are ready to start flights from Koltsovo to European countries as soon as CORONAVIRUS restrictions are lifted. There are no other obstacles, as Krasikov says, for this.

According to the executive director of Koltsovo Alexander Pastukhov, negotiations with airlines are underway and clarity on this issue will appear in the near future.

The fact that Serbia and Wizz Air are ready to enter Koltsovo became known in September last year. it was planned that the first flights would be launched before the end of 2021. “Negotiations with Koltsovo in this direction are ongoing and are now in the final stage. There is a high probability that there will indeed be a Wizz Air flight between Budapest and Yekaterinburg, ”Sandor Fabian said then.

In December, Sandor Fabian specified that Wizz Air would start flying from Yekaterinburg to Budapest in the spring of 2022.
