25 cases of coronavirus detected per day in the Kaliningrad region

In the Kaliningrad region on the morning of May 23, 25 cases of CORONAVIRUS were detected, which is five cases less than a day ago, two people were hospitalized. 32 residents recovered, one person died. This is reported by the information center for monitoring the situation with the infection.

In total, over the two years of the pandemic - from March 2020 to May 23, 2022 - 168,649 people became infected, 166,479 patients recovered, and 1,910 died.

RBC Kaliningrad wrote earlier that the authorities of the region in the near future may cancel the mandatory mask regime, introduced a year ago in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. The HEAD of the region Anton Alikhanov made an early cancellation in his Instagram account, answering a question from one of the subscribers.
