The day before, the diagnosis of coronavirus was confirmed in another 306 people, the total number of cases reached 60,684. 53,490 patients have already recovered in the region, and 31 people have been discharged with recovery over the past day.

Mass vaccination against coronavirus continues in Bashkiria, 1.22 million people have been vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, and 1.09 million residents of the republic have completed vaccination. As RBC Ufa reported, the region will receive 238.4 million rubles from the federal budget for incentive payments to HEALTH workers participating in the vaccination campaign. The amount of the transfer is determined at the rate of 200 rubles per vaccinated person.

Earlier, open data analyst Alexander Dragan predicted that by October in Bashkiria the number of cases and hospitalizations with coronavirus would begin to grow again, and the third wave of COVID-19 would smoothly move into the fourth. According to him, the republic remains one of the few subjects of the country where the situation with the spread of infection continues to worsen. According to the forecasts of the analyst, Bashkiria, at the current rate of vaccination, will be able to fulfill the plan for 60% of the vaccinated among the adult population only in seven months.

At an operational meeting in the government on Monday, September 6, Radiy Khabirov, referring to the order of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers Tatyana Golikova, said that the republic needs to vaccinate not 60%, but 80% of the adult population. The HEAD of Bashkiria instructed to intensify propaganda work in this direction.
