ATP monitoring PIONEERPRODUKT CleanTrust

Description: pioneer PRODUKT® CleanTrust ATP surface cleanliness test compatible with Hygiena SURE Series luminometers.

Principle of the method:

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a universal molecule found in all biological cells, including microorganisms.

The firefly-based "luciferin-luciferase system" can be used to quickly determine the ATP content in the test medium, which simplifies the monitoring of the hygienic condition of the surface of process equipment and other various industrial environments.

Under the action of the enzyme luciferase, the ATP present in the sample reacts with luciferin, causing luminescence. The intensity of luminescence, expressed in RLU, is proportional to the ATP content of the sample. The higher the RLU value, the higher the ATP content and the dirtier the surface.

Application area:

it is used with a luminometer to detect microbiological and organic contaminants, measure the degree of cleanliness of various surfaces, tableware, work tables, operator's hand surfaces, medical operating tables and is used to check compliance with proper sanitary and hygienic conditions in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, food industry in the HACCP system, perfumery and cosmetics industry, agriculture, catering establishments, and the HoReCa sector.

Set composition:

Storage conditions and shelf life:

• Store at 2 – 8°C, shelf life is 12 months. Shelf life at room temperature (20 – 25°C) is 4 weeks.

• Store in a place protected from light and in a closed bag.

Sensitivity: 10-15 mol.

Applicable devices: Hygiena SURE series luminometers , PIONEERPRODUKT® Intelligent Fluorescence Detector, Tianlong Biolum.

Taking measurements:

1. Remove the ATP test from the refrigerator. Wait for about 10-15 minutes (until the internal reagent warms up to room temperature).

2. Turn on the luminometer and wait until the internal calibration of the device is complete.

3. Hold the tube firmly and turn the swab to remove it from the tube.

4. Carefully wipe a standard 10 x 10 cm area using Z-shaped movements. Once the sample is collected, return the swab to the tube.

5. Activate the ATP test by holding the tube firmly and using your thumb and forefinger, break the ampoule by pushing the cap back and forth. Squeeze the cap twice with your fingers, forcing the liquid down the swab.

6. Shake the ATP test for 5 seconds.

7. Open the luminometer lid and place the ATP test into the luminometer so that it touches the bottom of the chamber.

8. Close the lid and press "OK" to start the measurement, keeping the luminometer in a vertical position. The measurement result in RLU will appear on the display.

Recommendations for sampling:

• Do not touch the swab or the inside of the ATP test with your fingers.

• Rotate the swab while collecting the sample to collect the maximum amount of sample on the tip of the swab.

• Apply enough force to bend the tampon stem.

• Swipe the swab lengthwise and crosswise, vertically and horizontally, and also diagonally.

Result evaluation:

The threshold values ​​of the PIONEERPRODUKT® CleanTrust ATP tests for the Hygiena SystemSUREPlusEnSURE, PIONEERPRODUKT®, Biolum luminometers are set by default to 10 and 30 RLU, for Touch – 20 and 60 RLU. When the value is less than 10 RLU (for Touch less than 20 RLU), the surface is considered clean, when the value is 11-29 RLU (for Touch 21-59 RLU), the surface is not clean enough, and when the value exceeds 30 RLU (for Touch exceeds 60 RLU), the surface is considered dirty.
