Since the beginning of the pandemic, coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has infected more than 7.7 million (+142 603) people worldwide, about 430 thousand (+4493) have died. About 4 million people have recovered. The increase in new cases in the last 24 hours has been record-breaking since the pandemic began.
According to the diagrams on the world market we can see a constant dynamics of growth of newly detected cases.
The largest number of infected in the U.S., 2.6 million cases of coronavirus were recorded there, almost 117 thousand people died, 791 of them - on June 12. The active spread of coronavirus in some states in recent days does not mean that the country is on the verge of a second wave of pandemic, the White House said. We are talking about individual outbreaks of the disease, not a full-fledged second wave that could cover the entire country.


  • In Brazil, almost 830 thousand cases of coronavirus have been recorded, 843 people died yesterday.

The total number of registered infections since the beginning of the epidemic has increased to 186 022 people. From the effects of COVID-19 disease caused by the new coronavirus, 18 patients died per day, the total number of lethal outcomes rose to 8781.

  • As of June 12, there were 52 520 cases of COVID-19 in Belarus. The increase per day was 704 new cases. This is the lowest increase for the last month and a half. 27,760 patients were recovered and discharged, in whom the diagnosis of COVID-19 was previously confirmed (1117 per day). During the whole period of infection spread in the country 298 patients died (plus five per day). Head of the WHO Belarus Office Batyr Berdyklychev notes that "Belarus is still at the stage of local virus transmission, i.e. this is a serious enough situation. According to Johns Hopkins University, our country is in 23rd place in the world by the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19.
